pecan tartlets >> pecan pie

switchin’ it up with a recipe for the holidays! these are an annual tradition in the DOAN family and ALWAYS a crowd pleaser!! i like tartlets over pie because 1. tartlets are mini size and any bite sized dessert is so cute (not to mention portion controlled too), and 2. tartlets = more surface area for crust, and crust (esp homemade) is good for the soul. not proven, but i attest to it. anyways, i thought it would be fun to share and since it’s documented here i won’t have to go looking too hard for the recipe, so we all win! these are also great in the mornings with coffee, a la mode, or a baked treat as a gift for a friend or co-workers!

side ramblings: well, #blackfriday and #cybermonday were a blur. closed my eyes and suddenly i have all these packages arriving at my house soon. weird how that worked out. 😁 i did go a little out on things that i don’t even need, because let’s face it, what do we really need?! but it’s always nice to #treatyourself and even better when it’s at a discount! haha. one thing i do know it that it’s been a rough year and girl/boy, you deserve it! as the holidays approach, it looks different this year. but let’s do the most we can to keep up with that christmas spirit! (even it means more christmas decorations!!)
